Car Rentals:  HIRE ONE OF OUR 3 CARS NOW...DO NOT BE DISAPPOINTED Due to demand, Island Palms Resort has purchased 3 vehicles that we hire exclusively to in-house guests. Our current prices are the cheapest on the Island for an equivalent type of vehicle – we have two (2) Suzuki “Vitaras” 4 door seats 5 and one (1) Suzuki “Jimny” 2 door seats 4, both purchased Dec.2006. All are automatics, are air-conditioned and can be switched into automatic 4WD mode which is sometimes necessary on our off-roads. Infant/child car seat & booster seat available. Get about the island with ease in air-conditioned comfort. Access stunning Radical, Florence & Arthur Bays (brilliant snorkelling!), go watch sunset at West Point then out to dinner on another part of the Island. Note that most car hire companies on the Island do not permit you to travel to West Point or Radical/Florence Bays. Our daily hire is 9am to 9am next day, “Vitara” $65 plus fuel, “Jimny” $55 plus fuel (all car hire plus damages). We gladly take advance bookings for weekly car hire only – daily hire is subject to availability on arrival. If you would like to book a weekly rental - “Vitara” $350.00 plus fuel, “Jimny” $300.00 plus fuel …… and ….. wait for it, yes - there’s more! If your ferry arrives/departs the Island between 9am-5pm on Saturday, we’ll pick you up/drop you off (this pickup service is offered with a weekly car rental only). Service with a smile ....
